Not a perfect anchorage in most respects, however it is an incredible vista to watch bears.  Narrow and confined the short stream at the bay’s head meanders so vantage points exist in all directions.  In a nut shell you are surrounded by feeding bruins!!!  They turn over boulders looking for salmon trapped by the outgoing tide and snorkel for fish!
