Cascade Falls 
The falls in Prince William Sound did not disappoint as our group kayaked in the mist of the plunging water.

Once upon a time, there was a trail that promised to lead to a scenic lake above the falls, but upon closer inspection, it looked like a bear buffet had exploded all over it! After a thrilling 100 yards of solo exploration that involved me wrestling with plants like a contestant on a nature-themed wrestling show, I decided to abandon my quest and return to the skiff. My last 35 yards? Picture a slapstick comedy where the trail turned into a Goonies-style joyride—my feet didn’t just leave the ground, they practically got a flight upgrade as I slid and tumbled to the beach below! Although my gymnastic routine would earn a score of “Yikes!”, I somehow managed to keep my shotgun out of the dirt and vegetation, narrowly avoiding a face full of bear scat that was just a foot away from my epic landing!
