Halo Bay finds bears salmon fishing along the shore and beach area. As we move inland expansive meadows cover the land back to the tree line and below Halo Glacier. Bears graze the high protein grass like cattle. There is a wolf pack that also moves around the area. The bay itself is home to numerous sea birds such as flocks of puffins. At Halo we strive to do evening hikes as the sun sets to capture unique photo opportunities.
