Kukak Bay

Offers a tidal area braided by streams which bears move along fishing. In Devils Cove which is marked by many rock outcroppings, sea otters raft together feeding and caring for young. Bald eagle are plentiful with a few nests atop rock outcrops. At the head of Devils Cove is a large waterfall. While the bears don’t feed on salmon there, they do fish for flounder in the shallows beneath it. While not often seen a wolf pack works the tidal area and forest area. A once in a lifetime event was when one lone wolf serenaded our group!
